Today's layout is our Thanksgiving Dinner this past year. This year it was just the three of us as in a few weeks the house was packed with both sides of our family and friends in celebration of Caitlyn's second birthday. It was a nice and relaxing day. This layout fits the Practical Scrappers challenge of using at least 7 things. I used: card stock(four different colors), patterned paper(four different types), distress ink(two different ones), green journaling pen, white doodle pen, two types of ribbon, grunge board, staples, and glimmer spray. WHEW! Lol. I did not realize how many things I use. The general sketch/placement came from a book called "Imagine" by Jeanette R. Lynton.

  1. I love holidays that are layed back and relaxed. You guys look like you had an awesome day! Love the layout.

  2. That is such a cute picture of Little Miss with her mouth open....captures Thanksgiving so adorably!!

  3. I love your LO. It is absolutely adorable!! Just so fantastic...Thanks for joining us this week at Practical Scrappers.

  4. Very nice job of getting all those things in without making it look jumbled! And you pics are too cute, its making me hungry!

  5. Great layout, Crystal. Aren't those "just us" days nice. Not that you want them all the time but when they come we can certainly be GRATEFUL!

  6. This double page packs a punch with all those darling fall photos. I think you did a fabby job with those mixed papers and love the ribbon! Thanks for sharing with us at Practical Scrapppers this week, girlie!
