Journal
Toni if you are reading this STOP NOW if you want your journal to be a surprise.
Hey there everyone. I am back, not really on schedule but back from our great vacation to Florida. I have not done much crafting but I did get this journal done and a few little things for a design team. I will be MIA somewhat until after 7 July as my BFF is coming in today for a visit for my birthday until then YAY!!!!!!
Anyways here is the handmade journal that I completed for my swap partner on the cricut.com board. I hope she likes it, I do I think LOL! Purple for some reason is a hard color for me to work with, that and orange. I am not sure what the issue is since I like purple but it has always been more difficult for me to work with. I used DCWV chipboard (4.5 by 6.5 inches), covered in Basic Grey Kioshi paper, embellished with tons from my stash. The journal has three sections, two slit pockets and one "hidden" spot on the front inside cover.I also made a matching bookmark. I used lined and unlined paper (cardstock) and I hope she likes it. What do you think?
Don't forget to sign up for my blog candy, I have three more things to add to it so far!!!!

Florida Fun
Lion Country Safari
So today we went to Lion Country Safari, it was a BLAST! We did about a 1.5 hour drive through the various lands with all kinds of animals to include rhinos, monkeys, giraffes (C's favorite) and more. Then we ate lunch, got monsoon ed on and C took a nap on my chest. Then we did a walking tour where we spent LOTS of time at the monkeys, flamingos, birds, and giraffes. Caitlyn FED a giraffe crackers and a stick! She got slimed and LOVED it! I was so surprised. We tried to go to the water park to no avail, she wanted nothing to do with it, which is strange for her. We rode three rides, the carousel, the Ferris wheel and a flying dumbo ride. She loved them all. Then we had ice cream (she shared with Mommy) and home for relaxing and dinner. B.B is now here and C is super happy. She loves loves loves her "woof woof". She kept staring at Elisa (the dog)'s food so much that we had to put it in the sink. She wants Elisa to constantly do things all the time and is fearless around her unless Elisa is running towards her. She loves to fed her, wants to give her ALL her food and wants her to run everywhere with her. She is obsessed.

Toby Keith Concert Layout- Stamping Boutique
Hey there. I hope you all are having a great weekend. I am trying to get some crafting things in since we will be gone starting Friday and I doubt there will be much time for crafting! I got my inspiration for this layout from HERE. I loved the look of the "random" strips of paper. I did not title this one but I did mention all the important pieces of information on the the two journaling blocks. The HUGE star on the bottom left of the pages is from Stamping Boutique, I may redo them later in a different color but I like them. I outlined the whole image in silver glitter metallic pen, dotted some stars and there you go, simple and cute (or at least I think so!). I had a blast at this concert and there are at least two more layouts that I have of the pictures that I wish to do. I hope you like it!

Loads of Love (Stamping Boutique)
My next project (I think this is the third one) with Stamping Boutique is this sweet card. Hubby says it is a little on the Valentine side but I think it would be cute to send to someone you were missing with "Loads of Love" Inside. What do you think? I colored it all with colored pencils and then highlighted with white gel and silver metallic pens. The wheels have tiny hearts for the insides.

Stamping Boutique Introduction Layouts
The first layout is of Caitlyn getting ready to go trick or treating and to a party. She was a farmer for Halloween this year. I am biased but I think she is the cutest one yet! She even had freckles with eyeliner! I used the Audrey Farmer Image from Stamping Boutique.I tried to make her look like Caitlyn with the red shirt, blue jean overalls and pink bandanna. She has some paper piecing going on and coloring. I made a whole little scene using Doodlebug Barnyard line of paper and embellishments.
The second layout "Fuzzy Ducky" I used the duck/chick image from Stamping Boutique. He is printed on yellow card stock and all the little patches are paper pieced and lots of doodling. The little flower between Fuzzy (I used fuzzy thickers) and Ducky is dry wall tape that I inked and cut out for something different. These pictures were taken on a petting farm that we went to and got rained on, but we still had a fantastic time. I love both of these layouts so I hope you enjoy them also!

Stamping Boutique and 2 Sketches 4 you!
It is Monday that means it is time for a new challenge at 2 Sketches 4 You and Stamping Boutique is the sponsor this week. We were given a sketch and allowed to use any Stamping Boutique image we wished. This is my first "official" design team work for The Stamping Boutique. I had a lot of fun with this patriotic image. I sized and printed on white card stock, then flocked the main part, colored the beak orange and cut him out. I wanted a very distressed but still patriotic card. What do you think?

This card was made using the Eagle image from Stamping Boutique. I used all scraps on my card. I distressed the edges using my Heidi Swapp edge distresser. The blue Cordenations card stock is embossed using the Provo Craft Cuttlebug Stars folder and then sanded using my Tim Holtz sander. The eagle is flocked white. The "thanks" sentiment came from a magnetic Making Memories sentiment stamp set. All paper were scraps I had already. Thanks for looking!

10 Random things about me in 2010
Hello out there! Thank you for bearing with me while we were on vacation. We have another one coming up in three weeks WOW! This summer is going to fly by with all the traveling we are doing. I whipped this simple layout up with a kit that I got last month (had to skip this month since I had other things I want for my birthday at the end of the month YAY) but I will get it again soon. I love that kits are so coordinated and helpful when I have 30 minutes to sit and do something I don't want to think about it all so kits work for me in that instance. I tried to be random and if you know me that is difficult as I like order and control in things. Did I get randomish? (Yes I know that is not a word LOL) Hope you like it. And no matter how hard I try I cannot write in straight lines without lines LOL!
