Good morning! I hope this March is going well for you. How was your leap year? Well hubby is home, he was gone for two whole weeks to Australia! Things were rough but he is home and we are settling into our routine again.
Today I am here to share the small (for me) kit I put together this month for March. You should have reached me from our awesome Guest Designer this month Mary Buttons. This month we are counterfeiting the Birds of a Feather March 2012 kit. The main colors are blue/yellow and it was rather small so I tried to stick to that premise. So without further chattering from me here is my kit, Cloudy Sunshine.
Above is the full kit, 8 papers (one has two so really nine), letter stickers, label stickers, sheer ribbon, twine, pearls, pearl flourishes, some white flowers a few chipboard clouds and a few fabric swatches to make some embellishments later on.
Above you will find a closeup of my papers. ALL the papers except the white corrugated sheet on the left are from Heidi Grace Designs Daydream, at Joanns'. They are all the B sides of the papers and I have noticed that is a trend with me lately.
Last but not least a closer picture of the embellishments. I tried to stay pretty true to the original embellishements in the kit. I add lots of letter stickers, some twine, sheer ribbon, flat backed pearls, clouds, flowers and some fabric swatches. I hope to use my new Cameo LOTS this month. We will see, my crafting has slacked off a TON as I am tired all the time now.
Now that you are all done with me, hop along to the very talented and lovely GLINDA. I hope you enjoy the hop, can't wait to see what you choose!

Nice kit look forward to seeing what you do with it
ReplyDeleteCrystal your kit is so soft looking. Are you thinking baby layouts here?
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty stuff! I hope you have a lovely time scrapping with this little kit. There's enough to make several pages, but not so much that you'd get confused. I think I might follow your example, for my monthly Crop on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHello by the way, I haven't been here very often - and probably not for a while!
I love your kit - very pretty and soft. Hope that you manage to get some crafting done - it's tough feeling so tired :)
ReplyDeleteYummy kit, Crystal!! Love the embellies and those lovely embossed woodgrains!
ReplyDeleteI like that you made a small kit. I haven't ever managed to do that. Hope you are getting your energy back soon. Growing humans is tiring work.
ReplyDeleteGreat job putting this kit together - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely kit Crystal! I particularly love the Lost & Found embellishments and the soft feel of your kit :)

ReplyDeleteGreat kit, and it made me realize I have a few of the same MME stickers as you, so those can go in my kit!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kit! Love all the embellishments you choose!
ReplyDeletecongrats and love how you stayed close to the main kit! I am getting back to counterfeiting so...
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect kit for you to counterfeit, because of the colors! I like how you kept it small, that's what I intend on doing. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
