Layouts 1-4 Counterfeit Kit challenge



Happy Saturday. I hope your weather is nicer than ours is right now. It is gloomy, cloudy and wet here. We have had a very lazy Saturday (I even got TWO naps in!) and you know what? It has been so needed and wanted! I love lazy Saturdays!

Here are my first four (2 two page layouts) for Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog this month. I am not in love with any of them but they are done. I did use my new Elegant Edges on the Halloween one (thanks honey!), and Caitlyn got a hold of the chalk in around the title of the Pizza one (love her help LOL). What do you think?

    I totally hear ya on the nap ... I was able to snag a nap too! Life is great!
    I love your diamond cut out design. That is with elegant edges? I have that on order WOOT!!!!

    I know what you mean about not loving some of the layouts I've created, but like you said, they are done. Looks like you are getting a great start this month!

    I love the butterfly embossed background on your first layout and I like how you used your negative for your other page in your second layout. Very nice.

    I love lazy Saturdays too. We had one yesterday because the day started out with thunderstorms. So I got a little scrapping in too. I'm struggling with a layout from my kit too; just remember we are our own worst critics. You two page layouts are wonderful.
