I am hosting a handmade free for all charm swap on the message board. This is what I came up with. Pretty simple but I wanted something that could be used on a variety of projects. All I did was have hubby flattened bottle caps, punched dictionary paper, inked the sides, adhered with double stick tape, then filled with glossy accents. I let them dry for over a day then punched holes in the top and thread brown satin ribbon through, the new owners can change this if they wish. I sure hope they will like them.

Love your bottle caps. I have several bottle caps that I painted and made little embellies out of them. I will have to try the glossy accents on some of them. I will look for them tonight and try to post them on my blog tomorrow for you to see. By the way your husband did a great job flatten them.
ReplyDeleteCrystal,
ReplyDeleteYour charms are great! May I ask what your husband used to flatten the bottle caps? Shari (cricutrookie)
These are really cool! I can see a lot of uses for them from cards, to scrapbook pages and mixed media! The person who gets them are going to love them!

ReplyDeleteAwesome idea!!! Loved the flattened look!!
ReplyDeleteThese are soooo cool and I know just the project I would use them on if I had some...lol. Might have to try my hand at them. I know someone already asked, but I am curious also about what hubby used to flattened the caps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful work with us!

These are so cute! They remind me of the page pebbles and would work for that too!
